To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Harrison since he came to Lee as a freshman, and he is one of the most impressive students it has been my pleasure to serve. As Vice President for Academic Affairs, I do not have an opportunity to interact with as many students as I did while on the faculty, but Harrison came to my attention very early in his experience here. He is simply a person who makes his presence known in the most positive of ways.
Although he got off to a rough start academically, Harrison has performed very well over the past few semesters, dramatically improving his GPA. Harrison has a very intense interest in media. He does his own Lee University newscast through Facebook, shooting, narrating and editing his work. His productions are of a high quality despite the fact that he does them almost entirely on his own. He is often the face of the school newspaper at community events which he covers with skill and insight.
I think he would be perfect because his demeanor is respectful, diligent, and focused. Although he definitely has a positive presence, he does not draw attention to himself in inappropriate ways. He learns quickly and would do anything that was asked of him.
